Congratulations to the Indiana Law Review‘s Symposium Editor, Katie Whitley, on being named a Skadden Fellow for the Class of 2022!

The Skadden Fellowship Foundation launched in 1988 to commemorate Skadden’s 40th anniversary and has since become the largest public interest law firm in the United States. The program provides two-year Fellowships to recent law graduates to pursue the practice of public interest law on a full-time basis.

Katie will create the first school-based civil legal aid initiative in the Indianapolis region designed to serve low-income families with school-aged children experiencing housing and economic instability. She will also engage students in creating Know Your Rights educational materials in housing law and public benefits.
